Company facts, website evidence and contact details

  1. Company records

Official Companies House data. Only legally Active companies qualify for Verified Websites.

  2. Verified Websites

High-confidence, unambiguous company-to-website matches supported by identity and location evidence.

  3. Automated findings

1,000 new websites analysed daily. Available findings connect an observed issue to supporting evidence.

  4. Public contact emails

Email addresses found on the company’s own website, with links to their source pages. Availability varies by company.

Analysis coverage is a subset of Verified Websites. A match does not independently prove domain ownership, and a website issue does not establish buying intent.

Active is a Companies House legal status, not proof of current trading. ClientFinch automatically analyses another 1,000 websites each day; not every Verified Website has findings yet.

Evidence before a proposal

See what was found. Decide how you could help.

ClientFinch runs technical checks automatically and uses AI-assisted reports to explain supported findings. Review the observation and its source before deciding whether it fits your services.

On-page SEO signals

Missing or duplicated titles, missing meta descriptions, heading issues, canonical declarations and indexing directives.

Links and availability

HTTP errors on the homepage, broken internal links among those checked, robots directives and sitemap availability.

HTTPS and page basics

HTTPS availability and redirects, mobile viewport declarations, language attributes and missing image alternative text.

Server response observations

Slow initial HTML responses can be flagged. This is not a Core Web Vitals assessment or a full page-speed audit.

Where analysis is available, the report connects the company and its Verified Website with the issue detected, supporting evidence or source URLs, and its potential relevance to agency services.

Checks cover a limited set of pages and links. Findings describe observations at scan time; they do not include private traffic data, keyword rankings, buying intent or a guarantee of new business.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What does ClientFinch do?

ClientFinch helps agencies, freelancers and consultants find UK companies with Verified Websites and review automated website improvement findings and public contact emails where available. Search by sector, registered-office location and incorporation date, then save relevant prospects with private notes. Pro includes CSV export with available email addresses.

How does automated website analysis work?

ClientFinch automatically analyses 1,000 new company websites every day. Technical checks identify observable issues such as missing metadata, broken internal links and HTTP errors; AI-assisted reports explain supported findings. Not every Verified Website has completed analysis yet. The daily scans are shared platform coverage, not an allocation of new scans per subscriber.

What does Verified Websites mean?

Verified Websites are high-confidence matches between legally Active Companies House records and websites, supported by company identity and location evidence without material conflicts or competing matches. A match does not independently prove legal ownership or administrative control of a domain.

Where does the company data come from?

Company records come from Companies House, with website discovery informed by Overture Maps places data. Search covers the eligible Verified Websites dataset, rather than every company on the register. Active is a legal registration status, not proof that a business is trading; a registered office may not be its trading location.

Does ClientFinch provide contact email addresses?

Yes. Where found, company details show email addresses published on the company’s own website, with a link to the source page. Free includes available emails within your five distinct company detail views per UTC day; Pro also includes them in CSV exports. Not every website publishes an email, and we do not verify mailbox deliverability. A published address is not consent to marketing.

Will ClientFinch contact businesses for me?

No. ClientFinch provides company research, automated findings, available contact emails and a shortlist. It does not send cold emails, run outreach campaigns or book meetings. You decide whether and how to contact a business through your own channels. A website issue is not evidence of buying intent or a promise of a sale.

What is included in Free and Pro?

Free costs £0: search, saved leads, private notes and up to five distinct company detail views per UTC day. Pro costs £49 per month and removes the daily detail-view limit, with access to existing findings where available and Pro-only CSV export. Neither plan promises unlimited new analyses.

How should I approach outreach lawfully?

Check the ICO’s guidance before using company research for marketing. Requirements depend on the recipient and communication channel; public information does not make every B2B message lawful. Respect objections and opt-outs, and take particular care with sole traders and certain partnerships. ClientFinch does not conduct outreach for you.
