Website opportunity coverage

Research starts with completed findings. The existing platform counters refresh when this page opens; the daily figure describes shared processing capacity.

Evidence before a proposal

See what was found. Decide how you could help.

Discover possible SEO and website maintenance work through supported technical observations. ClientFinch runs the checks automatically; AI-assisted summaries explain the findings and possible service relevance.

On-page SEO signals

Missing or duplicated titles, missing meta descriptions, heading issues, canonical declarations and indexing directives.

Links and availability

HTTP errors on the homepage, broken internal links among those checked, robots directives and sitemap availability.

HTTPS and page basics

HTTPS availability and redirects, mobile viewport declarations, language attributes and missing image alternative text.

Server response observations

Slow initial HTML responses can be flagged. This is not a Core Web Vitals assessment or a full page-speed audit.

Start with the issue detected, the affected page and supporting evidence. Where available, a finding includes a category, severity, analysis date and possible relevant service. The matched UK company provides context for your research.

Checks cover a limited set of pages and links. Findings describe observations at scan time; they do not include private traffic data, keyword rankings, buying intent or a guarantee of new business.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What does ClientFinch do?

ClientFinch helps SEO and web agencies discover relevant website opportunities through evidence-backed findings. Review an observed issue and its source URL, understand the matched UK business, then save a prospect with private notes. Company records provide context; existing website findings are the starting point. Pro includes CSV export.

How does automated website analysis work?

ClientFinch automatically analyses 1,000 new company websites every day. Technical checks identify observable issues such as missing metadata, broken internal links and HTTP errors; AI-assisted reports explain supported findings. Not every Verified Website has completed analysis yet. The daily scans are shared platform coverage, not an allocation of new scans per subscriber.

Can I find broken customer enquiry or booking links?

Yes, where Revenue Path checks confirm a meaningful enquiry, booking or service-action link repeatedly reaches HTTP 404 or 410. Review the source page, link text, destination, response evidence and analysis time. Safe public external booking destinations can be checked. Missing forms, absent CTAs, bot protection, transient failures and untested JavaScript are not confirmed problems. No form is submitted or booking created; the finding does not measure lost revenue or conversion rates.

What does Verified Websites mean?

Verified Websites are high-confidence company-to-website matches accepted under strict identity and location criteria. Only eligible legally Active companies qualify; ambiguous, conflicting or insufficiently supported matches are excluded. A match does not independently establish legal domain ownership or administrative control.

Does every Verified Website have a supported opportunity?

No. Some matched websites are awaiting analysis. Others have completed an assessment without a supported opportunity being published. That does not prove the site has no technical issues: the checks are limited, and an observation may lack enough evidence for an opportunity. Opportunities Found identifies existing supported findings you can review.

Where does the company data come from?

Company records come from Companies House, with website discovery informed by Overture Maps places data. Search covers the eligible Verified Websites dataset, rather than every company on the register. Active is a legal registration status, not proof that a business is trading; a registered office may not be its trading location.

Will ClientFinch contact businesses for me?

No. ClientFinch provides company research, automated findings and a shortlist. It does not send cold emails, run outreach campaigns or book meetings. You decide whether and how to contact a business through your own channels. A website issue is not evidence of buying intent or a promise of a sale.

What is included in Free and Pro?

Free costs £0: search, saved leads, private notes and up to five distinct company detail views per UTC day. Pro costs £49 per month and removes the daily detail-view limit, with access to existing findings where available, CSV export, Agency Profile & Targeting Preferences, the Personalised Opportunity Feed and Opportunity Alerts. For You explains existing preference matches; opt-in alerts notify you about newly published matching opportunities, with optional daily or weekly email digests. Neither plan promises unlimited new analyses, automatic outreach or commercial results.

How should I approach outreach lawfully?

Check the ICO’s guidance before using company research for marketing. Requirements depend on the recipient and communication channel; public information does not make every B2B message lawful. Respect objections and opt-outs, and take particular care with sole traders and certain partnerships. ClientFinch does not conduct outreach for you.
